Delta Protective Services: The Advantage of WinTeam & Its Integrated Payroll Platform

Primarily we provide uniformed security officers and marked Vehicle Patrol services. We’re based in Stockton, California. We’re kind of a regional company. We’ve been in business for 32 years.

 

What challenges were you trying to solve when you originally adopted TEAM Software?

When we first started with team, some of the big challenges that we were trying to solve was we were we didn’t have an integrated platform. So what I mean by that is that we were doing payroll in one solution. We were doing scheduling in a different solution. We were doing our invoicing in a third solution.

So we had all these buckets, we had all these silos of data that didn’t talk to each other. And what I really love about. Team is it puts everything in one package. Anything that touches money in any way, shape or form, is 100% handled by team. So every interaction with employees, up to recruiting and hiring, onboarding, all the way through to payroll and benefits is all handled by team.

All of our vendor interactions are all handled within one platform, within Team. All of our interactions, all of our invoicing and receivables, is all covered in teams. So I really love that about the platform, that’s, I’m gonna say, having one enterprise solution that solves all of those in one shot. That’s what I really love about the platform.

 

What’s the biggest benefit you’ve realized with TEAM Software?

Probably the biggest benefit is the integration of all the different silos that we used to have, and having one enterprise solution has been the biggest benefit of switching over to Team and being a team customer, as opposed to nearly any other platform. I’ve talked to other platforms, other other providers, and one of the questions I always ask them is like, Oh, does it do payroll? And their answer is, oh, it integrates with all of these other things. And I’m like, that’s not what I asked, because we do payroll in house, and I need a solution that puts everything under one roof, and team does that.

 

How Do TEAM Software Solutions Better Foster Communication?

One of the things I really like about the value we’ve been able to add to customers by using team is the communication that’s built into team. It’s integrated in there’s a whole customer portal. We just put a link on our website where our customers can go and click on that and log into their own portal, see all their own invoices, and all of the communication is in one place.

So that’s one of the big advantages. I also appreciate the ability to message our staff. So there’s that ability through the mobile app e hub of messaging our staff, and that’s integrated into the team environment as well. So those are some of the good communication features that we’ve been able to take advantage of. I appreciate in the software.

 

How Would You Describe the Value of WinTeam to Industry Peers?

I’ve talked to many of our peers in the security industry, and one of the things that I would say to them is that if they’re not using win team, they need to take a serious look at it, because it solves so many problems for us by having that integrated enterprise solution for for the all parts of the business, and for a business owner, you don’t have time to be messing around with does one silo talk to another silo? Is this department talking to that department? When it’s all in one place? You solve all those problems, and that’s what I would emphasize with a peer asking me about the advantages of win team.
