Bolana Enterprises: Doing More With Industry-Specific Software

Bolana Enterprises started in 2004. We have offices in Beltsville, Maryland in Washington DC, and we have approximately 350 employees.

One of the big benefits [of using TEAM Software] was that everything was in one place. You have the payroll, you have accounting, AP, AR, fixed assets, human resources, insurance.

It’s very beneficial and specifically I can talk about TeamTime which is really, really important in our industry. Being able to clock time in real time instead of having someone fill out a timesheet, and we know how that goes, because you could actually come in at five o’clock and say you were in at four o’clock. You can’t do that with TeamTime.

TEAM has fixed asset so it helps us keep track of our equipment, because if you imagine, you had you know 60-plus locations and how else are you supposed to keep up with all of the equipment that you have on the site if you don’t have some place to manage that data and manage that information?

Being able to go out to the sites and do inspections and have, again, all of that information going into one location was very, very important to us, because as a company grows, you have to have a way of managing that also.

One of the things I love is the security of TEAM. I don’t have to really worry is my data is secure, because that’s very important and that was one of the things I didn’t have with the other company that I was using — that security — and that was important to us.

I would say that the one thing that I really liked about TEAM when I first got into the team was the culture of the company. The culture of the company is one where they are client focused and you really listen. I don’t know what else do you need.
