KleenMark: Streamlining Operations and Growing With An End-To-End Solution

KleenMark has been with TEAM Software by WorkWave since 1999. What TEAM software allows us to do at KleenMark is have a solution that really covers us from end to end, starting with the operator entering time when they’re on the job, maybe a supervisor doing an inspection at the site, alerting our customer that we maybe found an issue or they were doing a great job. We start with that time and we take it all the way through to actually billing, so everybody from a cleaner to the controller is using TEAM Software to get the job done.

TEAM Software being built for cleaning and the cleaning industry, obviously has a lot of advantages. Anytime you evaluate a software solution, you want to say, “Okay, we need something that’s set up to follow industry best practice.” With TEAM Software, obviously it was built for us, so it’s got the best practices built in.

As an IT analyst, I’m always looking at our core processes and figuring out what is the best tool to meet those needs, and having TEAM Software and its capabilities to do everything from HR to payroll to time and attendance — having all that in one system — I mean it’s invaluable just from an efficiency standpoint.

Regulatory issues, having everything in one house just makes it so much easier to control and you spend less time tying things together, and you just focus on doing what’s right for the customer. The nice thing is it’s already there, so it can grow with you. KleenMark, having it since 1999, I can only imagine that we were maybe using 10% of the system at that point. But as you grow and expand and evolve, TEAM Software is there too. It’s already there to help you grow into it as opposed to outgrowing what your solution is.

I think of it as maybe if you’re a parent, and it’s like every year I have to buy my kid new hockey skates. You just know you’re going to be buying something new next year because you’re going to outgrow it. TEAM Software has everything there that you can grow into and not have to be reevaluating in two years as you get bigger.

We’re able to enter an inspection and share that with our customer, and our customer can log in and they can see the notes, they can see the images that were taken, when we’re doing this work for them. Our customers get to feel more involved.
